Bubbly? Can I ask you a pharma question?

I'm sorry, I hate to take advantage, but I am afraid I might accidentally kill myself here . . .

I took a Claritin liquigel around 4, and it says that I can only take one in a 24-hour period.  I have been taking Nyquil at night to sleep, but I don't know if I can take that in addition to the Claritin!!

Sorry if that's a stupid question . . . but thank you for your help!

  • Sorry to butt in, but looks like Bubbly may not be online now...   I'm a Nurse Practitioner in an Allergy/Asthma clinic.  It's not going to hurt anything if you take a little Nyquil at bedtime -- we routinely put people on "double doses" of antihistamines for different types of problems (usually itching, hives, etc..).    Plus, Claritin is the weakest 24-hour anithistamine available.... It's fine.

  • I'm also not bubs, but anytime I have a pharm question (and bubs isnt around) I call the 24hr pharmacy-like Walgreens- and ask them. They are always super nice and answer the question right away.

    Good luck!
