How much Follistim did you start on?

My dr has me starting 300ius of Follistim tomorrow...it seems like a lot, so just curious what's normal. ?Thanks!

    I'm on 450 Gonal F (similair to follistm) and 150 Repronex. I am a sucky responder.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I started on 150IUI of Follistim and 1cc of Menopur each day. I mixed the 2 for 1 injection each day.

    150iu of follistim and 50 units of low dose hcg

    Secondary IF: Severe MFI (low testosterone, low count, low morph, & very low motility) & Annovulation
    After 22 months IUI # 3 Clomid + Follistim = BFP
    DD #2 {12-31-2009}
    2 more years of failed IF treatments and a failed adoption TTC #3

    Eek, I just got out the Follistim pen and rang it up to 300....WOW. that's a big shot.

    I started on 300iu of Follistim, 5 units of Lupron, and 15 units of low-dose hCG.  I did that the first 3 nights, then slowly got lowered since I responded so well.

    I start stims on Friday and also will be on 300ius of Follistim, although the RE is having me come in after only two days of stims to check the progress.  Hope it works for both of us.
