in coloring books with juneypants and I am finding it very therapeutic!! Its taking me back to my old coloring days...except we'd probably be hard pressed to find a Partridge Family coloring book...
The only problem is that she skanks up her crayons so badly that I am wanting to go buy my own box...but then how do I keep her from skanking them up?!
(I'm half serious- I DO want my own crayons, but I would never not let her use them- I think she might be getting ready for a nice 64 box with the built in crappy sharpener which makes me giddy!!!)
ALSO: crayons I LOVE for her are Melissa and Doug triangle crayons, the 24 pack in a nice plastic case is holding up well- they are sturdy and they smell really good and color well. I just wish there was a 64 pack...I bought these on Amazon at x-mas time, and they all still have somewhat of a point- and they have no paper wrapper, which she peels off of crayola crayons and drives me crazy with.
ALSO part II: Michaels is having a 25% off crayola products sale this week, so I am going to go load up, plus we need sidewalk chalk, it's getting warmer!!
Re: SO I have been coloring
Coloring is fun! Check out the pics of Alex coloring over the weekend:

It was really exciting stuff. As you can probably tell from the pics of him shrieking with joy.

Overalls are awesome on little boys. I would have Alex wear them more often, but he strips them off when he's at daycare. I can only put them on him when he's going to be sufficiently disctracted to keep them on.
Here's one of my favorite infant pics of Alex in grasshopper overalls:

I so love the way crayons smell.

OK...LOL at "skanking" the crayons up. But I know exactly what you mean!!! Nora's crayons are nasty already, and she likes to peel the paper off most of them so you can't even tell which color the darker ones are. It's kind of a Russian roulette.
And I agree on the therapeutic thing. I forgot how much I liked to color!?
