Hard to choose - we used both for different purposes. I guess I would say swing since it kind of achieves the purpose of a bouncer but a bouncer cannot achieve the purpose of a swing.
That's a hard one! If I had to choose, I would pick the swing. Ava uses it several times a day, and I believe she can use it longer than the bouncer. But we use them for different purposes; she naps in the swing, and I put her in the bouncer to keep her occupied while I get dressed, cook, etc.
I guess if I had to choose I would say swing. Aaron sleeps in the swing a lot. But he also loves the bouncer. We use the bouncer less now that he a little older. Some babies hate swings though.

I'm trying to decide this too... from various comments on here, it seems like some babies really don't like swings (and some love them) but it doesn't seem like as many really don't like bouncers, so I am probably going to get (2) bouncers. I am still up in the air about the swing, I wish I could get one secondhand.

One option for you is to get a bouncer and then get a swing frame that holds an infant seat.
