  • yeah- I caught the tail end of one of these... on the EFF side of things they oftentimes result in unassisted homebirths!

  • I wish I had that channel. After being pregnant I just cannot imagine not knowing. I can understand the not really showing, or not having morning sickness, but didnt these people feel any sort of movement from inside?
  • My supervisor at work actually didn't know she was pregnant with her son until she was in labor. She went to the emergency room thinking she was going through liver or kidney failure....Hmm
  • I think I saw that. Still...

  • i agree that they all seem a little dim.

the one lady even went to the doc b/c she felt terrible...from specialist to specialist, no one even thought to test b/c she hadn't had a period in over 10 years. ?crazy.

  • I just cannot even imagine not knowing! I so wish I had that channel?

  • Watched it last night. There was one woman with a serious heart condition that I for some reason believed, the rest - I call serious denial. It's not just a river in Egypt.

And if one more of them said  "at that point I realized I was giving birth"  and then continued to stand over a concrete floor, I was going to crawl through the screen and punch them.

  • A friend's GF claimed she didn't know until she gave birth.  However, she wore baggy clothing for months and would nurse one glass of wine when we went out (this was when I was like 22-23).  Everyone else knew and tried to tell him but since she claimed she wasn't he bought it.  They took her to the hospital at like 7.5 months b/c she says she was having horrible stomach cramps...aka contractions!

Baby (little boy) is now healthy and had/has no complications.

I still don't really buy that she didn't know though!
