So I had a follow up with the RE today. ?She was totally ready to start me on Gonal-F, 75 IUIs (or give me the option of 150 mg Clomid), which I was prepared for, but then I mentioned ovarian drilling and she was dumbfounded with all the info I presented to her about why I should have it and she said:
"You're a perfect candidate, and I didn't offer it because we usually try injectables first... but I think you're on to something!"
So its a done deal, I'm actually having a lap with ovarian wedge resectioning and a hysteroscopy to see whats going on with my ute shape. ?She actually thinks that I either have an arcuate uterus, or the beginning of a septum, and would obviously like to take care of it while I'm on the table just in case its going to interfere when (I feel like I can finally say "when" and not "if"!!) ?I get pregnant. ?She is confident I will be PG by the end of '09.
I'm cried the entire way home from the RE (I was in traffic and couldn't cae less who saw me LOL) out fo sheer relief.
Thanks to everyone who has chimed in on my past posts and all my crazy questions. ?I love you gals
?
