Is it wrong...

I went to a baby resale shop at lunch and could not believe how many of the Carters tag-less "recall" clothes I saw.  I've been obsessing for the past two hours about going back and buying them and returning them to Carters.  Would that be totally wrong?

  • Okay, I am so doing it.  Tomorrow I have a lunch date with the baby resale shop!  I found 5 item just going through a quarter of the first rack!  It's such a rush!  It's like hunting for cash!
  • Maybe I misunderstood the story, but wasn't the rash a pretty rare reaction? I mean, I know it's serious for those who did have it (like poor little Holden), but I like Carter's and would hate to see them go out of business if EVERYONE is sending back the clothes ... especially if they're giving retail price for them and people are sending back ones they bought secondhand just to make some money. I don't know, maybe it's just me ...

There really are not that many items that are included in the "recall," it's only one season of clothes that were manufactured with the bad tags.

I guess I figure that if ANY of their items can hurt children they should be doing an official recall and not just this voluntary refund thing.  They made a mistake and they should be held accountable to fix the problem by getting all of these items out of stores.  Many of these items are still being sold at TJ Max and Ross type stores, we received several of the affected items as gifts.

  • Wait - I am clueless!  Where have I been? What recall? Please fill me in before my children get rashes...!!
