seen a HB at 8 weeks, via a Belly US? I go to the doc tomorrow, but there new US tech who does the vaginal US does not start until next week. The nurse said they will go ahead and do a belly scan on me, even though a vag scan is sometimes better this early. Do you think there is a least a chance I could see the HB on the belly scan? I'll be 8 weeks, 3 days. I know I will get another apt. next week to have a vag scan with the new lady but I don't want to wait!!

I had a belly US at 8w4d and saw the heartbeat. It's amazing. Have fun!

I'm sorry I can't help- my pregnancy has been the opposite... they used the transvaginal u/s until 12 weeks... they said once the baby gets bigger it's harder to get a good shot w/ the tv but that earlier it's more accurate with the tv... we saw the heartbeat at 6w6d with the tv. Good luck!
