NPR: how long to wait for a price quote?

I called a local furniture store this morning to get a quote on dd's big-girl furniture. I had already looked up the model numbers, etc online. 

I am still waiting for them to call me back 5 hours later.

I was expecting a call within 3 hours or so, but not sure if that was an unrealistic expectation.

I would call them back, they could have gotten sidetracked.
