Odd and confused

So, March 10th had + HPT.  March 13th negative blood work. Considered a chemical but that was 17 days ago and have not bled yet. I have bad cramping and lower back and hip pain, but no bleeding.. When I called the docs office they said they want me to come in for another HCG.  This is odd. I don't think I am PG.  Wouldn't the first blood test show up + if I already had a + HPT? 

I don't think anyone can answer this but I am just confused!
