outside climber question

I have been thinking of buying my daughter a plastic climber like this one for her first birthday...I know she will be too young at first (I'll have to help her for a while), but was thinking she might grow into by the end of the summer (she'll be 15 mos then)...and then it could move inside this winter.  Am I crazy...will she still be too young?  Thoughts.  Thanks.

My daughter is 18 months and would love that!  12 months is a little early for it, but as long as you have room for it inside once the weather gets cold, I think it's a great idea!
