My DS name is Zane and I really like the name Alexa. My grandfather's name was Ray and the MN would be a little tribute to him. Im not preg yet, just looking ahead :-) WDYT?

Oh! haha I thought that I had heard that combo before! I knew her name was Alexa b/c of the song "Downeastern Alexa" (which I love) but forgot that was her middle name. Anyway, I forgot to mention that DH's middle name is Alexander, so I thought Alexa would be nice and she would be sort of named after Daddy :-)

Alexa is NMS, but there is nothing wrong with it. I especially like using a family name for Rae. That's really neat. ?

I love Alexa, but paired with Rae I think of Billy Joel's daughter. I would use a different mn.

I like it!    I used Rae as a middle name as a tribute to my grandfather as well,  an added bonus is that is flows with everything.
