I don't know if anyone remembers me posting about this last week. Sam had a photo taken of him where his eye looked funny and somebody here mentioned getting it checked out because it lloked similar to photos taken of other kids that were diagnosed with retinoblastoma. I really thought it was just a fluke with the way the flash hit his eye, but it was bugging me and I didn't want to live with any "what ifs", so I took him in.
The pedi said he is fine, no problems with his eye at all. I thought she was going to think I was overreacting for bringing him in, but she said that I was definitely right to bring him in. She said that she has diagnosed a case of retinoblastoma before that was first noticed based on a photo like Sam's. Here's the photo again just to inform you guys in case you ever encounter it.
Re: Back from pedi about Sam's eye
I know you feel better. So glad everything is fine.
And that siggie is hysterical!
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
That's great news!
ps: I told you it was just my crappy camera. :-)
YAY-glad to hear all is well!
Love the sig pic btw- that is really funny!
I'm so glad he's fine!
I remember hearing a story like that on the news not to long ago where a girl posted her DD's pic on a message board (maybe even this one) and one of the moms told her to check it out and she did and thank God because her DD did have something major.
Thank God your DS is ok and yay for you being proactive!

I'm so glad everything turned out to be nothing. When I paged you I went to do it like 3-4 times because I didn't want to freak you out but in the end I knew that I would feel horrible if there really was something wrong & I didn't say anything.
That's wonderful news; so happy you went in and it was nothing at all!
Me with my littlest.
