Is this against "nest rules?"

I've been toying with the idea of starting to take family/kid photos as a side business.  To build my portfolio/get some practice on kids who aren't my own, I was going to post on my local board that I'd do some free sessions.  I know you can't advertise your business, but before I do it, is it against the rules?

I have no idea, but you take great pics of your kids. Your sigs now are just adorable.  I love the one of Law.

Technically, yes. But it depends on how strict your local board is. I know a few people have done the exact same thing on my local board and no one turned them in. GL! You are very talented!
