Recycling is like laughter, it's contagious! Invite all your friends!"
my response was based solely on the issue of transport from china to here...i have no clue what goes into the making of new (or recycled) plastics, so i figured the transport was the deal breaker. totally a guess.
here's what i have read: plastic never goes away--it can be recycled into something else but any plastic ever created is still here, unless it was incinerated. in my opinion (and i always try to get made in usa), it's better to buy something made with post consumer recycled plastics than to support the making of new plastics, which is terrible for the environment all the way around.?

This was my reasoning, too. Why create more - if nothing else, with buying the post-consumer plastics, you're 'voting' with your money, hopefully making companies realize there is more of a demand for post-consumer plastics, and hopefully eventually getting more things created from it. I agree with pp, though, about the travel, however.

Re: Your opinions please
This was my reasoning for my vote as well.
