I'm currently only keeping track of spotting and AF like stuff. (no CM, temps or ovulation).
is there a website or an organized way to keep this information?
I'm collecting 6 months of this so when i go see a specialist (which my insurance won't cover) regarding getting AF every 10-15 days and multiple ovulation i have some record of what my cycle has looked like (right now its a HUGE mess and nothing seems to take any sort of recognizable pattern).
I was a member of FF way back when, i'm not against using it again, but i'd only be tracking spotting and AF... so it seems like a little overkill.
TIA.

my insurance won't cover it because my OB and my general doctor say that BCP will regulate my ovulation (even tho i got pregnant twice on it) and my bleeding. The only specialist in Maryland who is actually specialized in dealing with multiple ovulation AND erratic bleeding patterns is at a center in Georgetown. My insurance says its unnecessary and won't cover even a consultation.
I temped way back when and my temps were always all over the place. I don't want to temp right now because I don't remember to temp, let alone write it down and my waking pattern isn't consistent (i don't get up at the same time every day) i also can't set an alarm to wake me up to temp, it will wake the whole house. Temping just isn't an option or something i'm willing to do.
I talked to the specialist via phone and he said all i needed was a record of my bleeding pattern and possibly ovulation symptoms (i get severe pain in one ovary). He's going to try to talk to the insurance and justify even a partial payment from them to lower our costs, but i have to show w/o him monitoring me that i have a history (at least 6 months) of eratic bleeding/cycles.
ooomg - seriously?? because you don't want to go on BCP that's grounds for determining something is medically unnecessary? let's just forget about figuring out why it's happening and what's going on and throw people on hormones?? man, you must be super annoyed.. i'm annoyed for you in any case..
i hope the specialist is able to talk some sense into the insurance company.. it's really nice they're willing to do that for you! as far as keeping track of just spotting or AF i'd just use your reg calendar and make little abbreviations for each day that you have a symptom.. it's probably the easiest way for just those symptoms.. like use S for spot, P for period and O for ovulation or something??

hmmm... maybe just make a line graph. dates on bottom and 0, 1, 2 on the side. 0=nothing, 1=spotting, 2=AF. That might give you a picture of what a few months time looks like. Good luck, I hope that you guys can get something figured out soon!?
