I mean the shoe, not the vehicle!

For a 3 year old boy, when wearing shorts - are they worn with socks, or without?

Either without or with really low socks that don't show.  FYI-his feet and shoes will smell and need to be washed frequently if you go without, but I think they look a little funny with socks.
