post partum AF.. what was it like?

I am totally confused! I'm guessing that this is just my cycle trying to work itself out again but it's sooo out of whack!   I had a period about 2 months post partum.  It started with 5 days of spotting and 2 heavy days.  Then on cycle day 21.. it all started again!  It's been crazy heavy this time. It started with 3 days of spotting and it's been really heavy since then!  How long did it take for your cycle to become 'normal' again?

    Mine were not as bad as I expected and came like clockwork. ?I am sorry yours are so out of whack...no fun

    I hate to be Debbie Downer, but I want to  be honest. I FF from the start and I got my first PP AF at 11 weeks pp. It was AWFUL......I had about 6 days of heavy spotting before it even started, then it lasted a full 7 days. It was VERY heavy and clotty. I had also had horrible cramping, which I did not have pre-PG.

    It took almost 6 months for my AF's to "regulate." They still continued to be very heavy, with days of spotting first......
