I just had a panic attack at work :(

I am kind of new here but I need a little support.

My 1st call from a client today and he was screaming at me for no reason. Normally, I am so good with the irate people that everyone has me talk to them but after a weekend w/ OHSS and driving to NYC at 4 am yesterday, I am on my last damn nerve! My heart started pounding and I couldn't breathe so someone else had to take the call.

I hope it doesn't affect my transfer tomorrow! Stress is so bad for IVF. Please make me feel better and tell me I didn't mess up my transfer.

Aw, honey, you didn't mess up your transfer!  Just try to do what you can to relax a little today and especially after your transfer.  But, I promise, you didn't do anything to mess up your waiting uterus!

How could you have messed up your transfer when it hasn't taken place yet.  Is it possible to take some time tonight to focus on getting your body and psyche into a place of calm and relaxation, maybe close your eyes and meditate for a little while until you feel a sense of peace.  Remember, not everyone is serene and relaxed when they conceive, so you'll be fine.  Good luck tomorrow.

Aww I'm sorry you're upset but I'm sure it won't affect your transfer.  Can you maybe go outside or somewhere quiet for a few minutes to sort of regroup.  I have a quiet stairwell with a sunny windowsill here at work that I go and sit in when I need a minute to get ahold of myself.

I'm so sorry about the turd on the phone.  I'm sure you have done nothing to affect your transfer, you will be fine.  Go take a little walk if it's sunny outside and get some good sun relaxation.  Then tonight go home snuggle up with a good book or movie and relax with your wonderful DH.  Your transfer will go just fine, we are all thinking and wishing the best for you.

Thanks ladies! I have done so well this cycle keeping the stress level down and I am so mad at myself for letting myself get so worked up. I did walk away for a little while for some fresh air and I feel better. When I go home I'll listen to ocean sounds on my ipod and hopefully get some sleep.
