Re: Overnight cloth diaper help please

  • Only thing that has worked for us: Bububebe + 2 doublers (bamboo terry + zorb) + heavily lanolized crochet wool soaker.

There was no way we could stuff a pocket enough to get DS through the night.

GMs work better than pockets for us, but they're still not reliable.

  • Jillian's Drawers has an "overnight" kit that is supposed to work great for heavy wetters. ?I have it, but haven't tried it yet b/c I am still priming the hemp inserts. ?It's a tad bit bulky, but I've talked to the ladies at Jillians and they said they work great! ?Check it out...it's under the package deals on Jilliansdrawers.com.

    Good luck!?

  • Thanks Ladies. I am going to try one of each and see which works better. I need something. :)
  • I've been using the Baby Beehinds Ones-Size bamboo diaper for overnights.  I use both snap-in doublers, and it's honestly so absorbent that I don't put a cover over it.  We put Gracie to bed in fleece Carter's sleep sacks, and that provides enough of a "cover" with these diapers.  We also use the BBH one-size hemp diapers at night, but I think the bamboo is softer.
  • We got through about 10hours last night with a bamboo SBish with two extra soakers and a BBH wool cover. DS nurses to sleep and eats 2x during the night. This morning the outside of the wool was still dry.
