Stretching Pains

So Friday night I had a sharp pinching pain on the right side of my abdomen.  It didn't last long and my abdomen has been sore the last couple of days....l have heard the baby's heartbeat since this and I know the baby is fine.  I called a friend of mine to see if this is normal.  She said it sounds like streching pains and it completely normal....she said the uterus is making room for the baby.  I just wanted to check with yall as well.

    It sounds like round ligament pain, which is very normal in pregnancy. Since your uterus starts out the size of a pear, and continues to grow and get heavier, it puts stress on those round ligaments. The round ligaments start to stretch and get thinner (kinda like pulling on a rubber band), and that causes the pain. I'm starting to experience that now too.

    Sounds like stretching pains to me!

    And just so you know I read the title to your post as "Stretching PANTS".  Where is my mind?  Hmmm time to get some new clothes!
