Reed can get around the room by shimmying, and pulling himself along but he isn't doing the traditional crawl on his knees. Do I consider this crawling? Or do I have to wait for the real thing? LOL
According to a friend who works in child development, there are about 25 different versions of crawling that children do. And the shimmying you describe is one of them, Hud does something similar.
That's what my girls do and I consider it crawling. Well, really, I call it an "army crawl" but that's just semantics. Mine are also pushing up on all fours and rocking, so I imagine the "traditional" crawl will be coming soon!
