SIL update!

Hi ladies!  Thank you so much for all of your good vibes and positive thoughts last week.  She went to her doctor on Friday and her beta went up.  It didn't double but apparently when it gets up into the higher numbers (hers was 30,000ish at 6 weeks) and you are further along the doubling time slows down.  She is 6weeks 5days today. 

She wants a new doctor because he was going to schedule a D&C until she insisted on bloodwork and ultrasounds.  She had bleeding for one day but her pregnancy tests were still coming up positive a week later.  We think he was too quick to just say "miscarriage".

She has an ultrasound tomorrow to hopefully see the heartbeat and some growth!

Thanks again!  I always talk to her about this board and how helpful it is, so she was pretty happy to hear that there was still lots of hope!

Thank God she insisted on the bloodwork and ultrasound. I will be praying that she sees a nice strong heartbeat tomorrow.

What a roller coaster!  I'm glad that things are looking better and better!

I'd find a new doctor too. . . I'd have a difficult time trusting the guy who was so quick to perform a D&C without getting tests run.
