Ditto what everyone else said. I just started last month and did a little research on thyroid meds. It should be taken on an empty stomach because there are certain meds/foods that can block the?absorption of?your thyroid meds like multi-vitamins, calcium supplements/antacids/dairy, soy, walnuts. As pp suggested, I take all of my other meds at night. I also keep my pills on my night stand with a glass of water so I can take it when I get up for my early bathroom run.
TTC since 3/08
DOR, High FSH, Hypothyroid, Uterine Polyps, blocked tube, MFI,
5 rounds of clomid, 5 IVF attempts, 2 hysteroscopies,
2 natural conceptions=2 losses (Methotrexate, D&C)
Successful DE cycle twins born 10/7/11
also fiber. And mr dr says to avoid multi-vitamins, calcium supplements/antacids/dairy, soy, walnuts for at least 4 hours after taking it (which I think is extreme, but she insists)
Re: If you take Synthroid
Thanks Jen, I made that switch to my routine right away.
