I'm looking to purchase a used minivan in the next couple of weeks. I have 2 boys both in car seats and traveling in a small car is just getting difficult. I'm going to buy a Consumer reports magazine and check out edmunds.com but wanted first hand experiences as well. Please give me the good, the bad and the ugly. My only real requirement is that it must have 5 doors. I don't have a lot of money to spend and want something with lower miles.
TIA!

Re: Rec. your minivan please....
we just bought a used Mazda MPV and love it.
The best two are supposed to be the honda oddessy and the toyota sienna but both are expensive.
DH test drove the dodge caravan and thought it 'couldn't get out of it's own way'. He also spoke to someone who had owned 2 Windstars (Ford) and they said they tend to go downhill after 100k miles.
The Kia Sedona gets good reviews and is the cheapest. But we didn't drive those.
I know two people with oddysey's who love 'em. one found hers used... although that's a tough one to find used. I know, I've looked.
oh and while my car was getting serviced (a year ago) I was strolling the lot. A couple with twins in infant seats were checking out either the caravan or town and country??? cannot remember which. but their infant carseats wouldn't fit in the captain's chairs... the driver would have to be pushed up too far for the dh.
