IVF Update

IVF is a bust....went for retrieval on Sat only to find out that 2 of the 3 eggs we had broken down. Since we still had one good egg...RE converted to an IUI.

So now we are in the two week wait to see if my one egg did the trick.   If this does'nt work its onto a donner eggs for us....as hubby has great swimmers....33 mil post wash.

I wont say yesterday I wasnt extremely emotional after taking all the meds and doing everything right only to get nothing.....

Today I am doing better and have reconciled myself to the donnor...we are truly lucky as we can afford this option.

I know it only takes one...so let hope for my one poor little egg left....on a postive not we do not have to give up bding for the next two weeks.

    I am so sorry, I had a cancelled cycle and then they changed my protocal. Good luck and I hope this egg is the winner!

    Egg retrieval 2/27 - 27 eggs, 24 mature, 19 fertilized
    Embryo transfer 3/4 - 2 beautiful, hatching blasts and nothing left to freeze.  Beta #1 461 9dp5dt. Beta #2 1230 11dp5dt.

    Sorry to hear about the converted cycle, but you are right - it only takes one.  I'll keep everything crossed and say a prayer.

    I'm sorry. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and crossing all fingers and toes that your one little egg is a success!!
    TTC since 3/08 DOR, High FSH, Hypothyroid, Uterine Polyps, blocked tube, MFI, 5 rounds of clomid, 5 IVF attempts, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 natural conceptions=2 losses (Methotrexate, D&C) Successful DE cycle twins born 10/7/11 Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
