My name is Jill and the name isn't even in the top 1000 for baby names these days. People would rather name their babies fancy glittery things such as Diamond and Nevaeh than something simple like Jill .
The name Dawn is also rare these days. I used to love it when I read the "Babysitter's Club" series.
Some other names I rarely hear on babies and kids:
Susan, Carol, Hillary, June, Evangeline....
There are a lot of great under-used names out there. Every baby doesn't need to be named Emma or Isabella .
I don't love the name Keith, but it's not very popular anymore. Kevin is a name I love and never hear anymore either, other then my uncle. Also, Danielle, Valerie, I haven't heard Michelle in awhile.

My friends' 3 year old is Laurie. That's a great name.
And I'm Suzanne... which is a good, standard name.
