If someone GBCBOTB, why do they come back with a new SN?  If they hated it before chances are they will hate it now. 

I just realized that a particular SN is an old regular who made a big production about leaving. She is making it very apparent it is her by having her blog attacted to her new name.

This is quite a conundrum. I think some people don't really GBCBOTB, they just want to take a break. I have considered it because I get sad that I can't TTC yet. But, I'm addicted to you ALL. So maybe it's partly that!

I guess it depends on the reason for the GBCBOTB.  I took a "break" and came back with a new s/n as I wanted a change but never had a problem letting people know who I was previously (MrsJohn).

I said "hey, we had to dial back the TTC, I'll be around less" and that's very different than a GBCforum post...

 

 

Then again, I think people go 'they're just prejudiced because I said x, if I do Y this time, tye'll like me"...not realzing, that, no, we just didn't like them and wont' again.

She did take a break from Supa.  TTC was getting to her and just needed a fresh start and I think she was getting tired of some the "drama" that kept occuring.  I think she stayed away for a few months then decided to come back.  I dont' think she was keeping it a secret or anything about her new sn.  I could be wrong. 

I could totally be waaaaaaaaaaay off on that information though.

And FWIW, I had a feeling this is who you were speaking off.  She has the same signature line on her blog as she did for her siggy here when she was supa/mrsG.

My theory on whenever anyone GBC-Any of the Boards, is that the person is just straight up obsessed. Especially if they make a big deal about it, then come back with multiple AEs. I've seen this happen on GP. I think some people just can't let it go, no matter how much they are hated, or claim to hate it here.

All of that could be the case.  I am not sure.  I do know she made a big production about leaving and made a huge post about drama and BOTB.  That is why I find it odd she came back. The people are still the same. Less drama than a few months ago, though.

I did the same because my old sn was lame, lol.  But I never intended to GBCBOTB...so I guess it's different.
