Veal Sweetbreads

It is not veal on sweet breads. Just FYI.

I meant to post this last night after our fancy dinner. I ordered it thinking it was one thing, saw it on my plate and realized it was not at all what I thought. Good, but I am still a bit freaked out.

It's the thymus gland, which is in the neck. Close to the brains, but not quite. Looks like it though.
