Two years ago today...

Rowen came home from the hospital after 8 weeks and one day. I was so happy that he was home but very scared too because I wasn't sure I'd be able to care for him like the nurses did. The first few days were tough, he started to desat really low the second night and my dh sat by him giving him O2 blow by because we did not have a nasal thingy to put in him. we had to rush him to the Dr. who thought he shouldn't have been released from the NICU. Oy!

boy have things changed! and for the better. for all the mommies with babies in the hospital or about to come home...this experience will make you a stronger person than you ever thought possible.
