Can I have a Beer or Two on Clomid?

Today is CD 6 so I just took my first dose yesterday. We are going to the NCAA tournament game tonight, and I would like to have a beer or two before the game. I almost never drink while TTC, but I feel like I need a night off. Is it ok to have a beer or two on Clomid? TIA!

I've done the whole no alcohol while TTC thing and then after spending months and months with no drinks, I thought, a drink once in awhile isn't going to hurt anything.  I'd say go for it.  My RE told me I had no limitations while on Clomid.  Enjoy your night off and beer and basketball just go together, right? 

Oh, by the way....I'm in the 2WW, on clomid this cycle and I'm going to wineries with the girls today!! Some may say I'm horrible, but I revolve my life around this enough, I have to give myself a break today!

I'm so glad you replied! When we first started TTC, I didn't drink at all and also cut out coffee. The more time that goes by, the harder it becomes to act pregnant even though I'm not. It's like a constant reminder. With the Clomid, I felt like I just needed a little permission to have a drink or two. Thanks!

I'm glad you ladies posted this! I just started Clomid and there have been so many times since we first started ttc that I didn't drink. I'm going out to a Mexican restaurant tonight and I'm going to have a margarita!
