For the record: I am an EP'er I suppose taking a half hour every three
hours for the past 3 months to extract the very nourishment that
supports my child's life makes me lazy too huh? But does that give me
the right to bash mother's who choose to formula feed? I don't think
so. I did not come here seeking anyone's approval nor did I come to
take part of a modern day stoning. If someone were to come into your
home and critique every parenting decision you've ever made I'm sure
they would find some faults. I don't know how anyone here especially first time mothers can get pleasure out of making someone else feel minuscule about their mothering capabilities. No one here is perfect I'm sure of that,
so next time please keep hurtful comments to yourself. I would like to please leave it at that.
Re: about last night...
I am not sure what happened last night, but i wanted to say i love your sons name. We were very close to naming ours Owen Andrew too! Andrew is DH's middle name.
We ended up going with Owen Hunter though. We call him O man! haha.
how funny!! we call him o-man too!!!!! your son is adorable!

my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks
so is yours!!! sooooo cute!
i was just looking back through your old posts, and dont worry about the bottle propping thing! As long as you are right there with him i do not see a problem with doing it occasionally. At 3am when I feed Owen I prop his bottle up and I pump at the same time. I BF him, except for in the middle of the nigth. It just takes TOO LONG!!
Also, I saw your post about wanting to donate to the military. As an Air Force Pilots wife, I wanted to say thank you so much!! :0)
Thanks... but so be it if that's what they choose. I won't be abused.
ha! I read the op. You're upset by that?!? Seriously?!? No one was out of line in anything they said to you.
Get.Over.It.
no, the comments made in this one did...

i understand that EP'ing is double work, i did it for a few weeks and stopped due to low supply. ?we switched to formula. ?i do understand that you probably feel tied to the pump and then needing to feed. ?like i said, it's double work, and it's more time consuming than BF'ing and FF'ing.
however, there are risks associated with bottle propping. ?i'm sure you know what they are and i'm not going to point them all out. ?i just think that using the fact that you EP as an excuse is lame. ? yes, it is hard to find time to get things done, or to eat. ?but you can do all of these things while your baby sleeps.... because surely he does at some point.
soo... fyi, you kind of did that to yourself.. you can't antagonize people and tell them to get off their high horse and not expect people to get all up in arms.. still not understanding why you're complaining .... still. Let it go.
ditto.
feel better now?
You're not int he wron, OP.
I am a BFer and those women absolutely sounded holier than thou
Get off your high horses, ladies, the fall will you realize you aren't perfect will really break you.
