Who else is avoiding meat because of Lent.

I know it's only for about a month and I know that it's only once a week but the things I would do for a burger right now. I know that pregnant women are "exempt" from Lent but I feel like God blessed me with a baby after so much heartache that the least I can do is sacrifice meat just once a week.

Anyone else doing Lent?

Me.  I've been such a bad Catholic lately, and I feel really bad about it since we are baptizing Ava in May.  I decided to try to uphold the "no meat" thing as a small sacrifice.  I totally screwed up the salmon for dinner tonight (wasn't watching it, so it was overcooked on the outside and raw on the inside), and now I, too, am craving a burger!

Originally I wasn't eating meat on Fridays but decided after I got my bfp I needed the meat. I know pg wome are exempt so I don't feel as quilty now.

i was soooo good until today...i totally forgot what day it was and had a taco ?i usually skip a meal on fridays during lent too...yeah didn't happen today?

I'm catholic and I know BF girl and pg gals are usually exempt from that.  At least, that is how my mom has always practiced.  I try not to eat meat, but I kinda need it for BF.  You know how they make exemptions for the elderly.

I didn't give anything up for lent but I wasn't eat on friday's...till yesterday. Totally forgot and had chick-fil-a for lunch and turkey burgers for dinner.I haven't been going to church regularly though so I'm not sure what I was doing!
