WTF? Some people's parenting (or lack there of)...

DH and I were driving home from a store tonight and passed through one of the not-so-great sections of town.

DH mumbles, "wow...that's awesome..."

I missed it, but I guess there was this 4 y/o kid on the sidewalk (his dad was up on a porch on the 2nd floor) of a pretty busy street, wearing pants too big for him so his underwear showed, and a sideways baseball cap. He was playing with a toy gun, and sliding it into his waistband starting at his chest.

Niiiice.

We used to live pretty close to one of the few sets of projects still left here... and we'd often see girls out with baby carriages and/or toddlers at 2am. Unless you gave birth to a vampire, why would this be acceptable? As my mom used to say, "nothing good happens after 1am."
