day trips..any recs?

dh has a week vaca the end of april. I am trying to figure out some things we can do as a family. we NEVER get family time all together like this so im trying to make the best of it. he works weekends as well as during the week, and i work nights so for our little ones this is the best for them, but for us its tough. what are some fun things we can do together in the area? I was thinking the childrens museum..the aquirum.. our daughter is 1 1/2 but shes very busy and acts older than her age so stuff that would interest her obviously would be best.. our other daughter is too young to really care so its more for the older one:) thanks for your thoughts..

children's museum, aquarium, museum of science, swan boats, duck tours, walk around the commons....there is so much to do!
