WTF!!! A vent

So I call and leave a message on VM for my nurse about my 24 day cycle on estrace. I tell her IT IS NOT NORMAL on the message. So she calls me back and asks me "So is a 24 day cycle normal for you?" When I calmly said "no" she says "well let me talk to the doctor and call you back..."
Why in the name of all that is holy did you not ask the doctor before calling me? I didn't call you to chit chat and find out how your day is going!
I am patiently waiting again now for over an hour for her call back. I need to go to the store and get some things for dinner. I am afraid if I leave I will be playing phone tag. So call me back damn it!

That is very annoying! I hate when stuff like that happens too! I always give them my cell phone as my main number so I have a shot at getting the call but not being held hostage by them.
Hopefully she calls back soon so you get dinner!!
Ugh, how annoying! I hate it when people don't pay attention, especially in matters concerning your health!
I think some nurses/doctors need a refresher course on being sympathetic to their patients and understanding their emotions/fear/etc and not just brush them aside.
I hope they call you back soon with some answers!!
