How many potties?

We have a 2 story house with a bathroom on both floors.  I am in love with the precious planet froggie potty and want to buy them now because I'm afraid I won't be able to find it when they are ready to potty train.  Do you need 2 for each floor (1 potty for each kid)? or just one for each floor's bathroom?

We're not there yet, but for my DS we only had one in the downstairs bathroom.  He never really liked it, preferred to use the small toilet seats that go on top of the regular toilet seat.
