How to upload u/s DVD to Utube (or other options)

I'm a technical moron and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the DVD I have of our big u/s into a file format.  I think if I could do that - I could probably figure out Utube.  Any adivce?

Ive uploaded my ultrasounds to youtube, however they were so long (and the file was way big) that I used a editing software to cut out the "unimportant" parts. Also, my u/s DVDs are .vob files so I just convert to mpeg, save and upload to youtube.

So in other words, you will need to save the video somehow and then upload it. You cant directly upload from your DVD disc.

this will help you save it to your PC as mpeg, wmv, etc..(compatible with Youtube)

Ok thanks - I will try that.  I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get it to a file!  Let's see if I can make this work.

What version of the software did you download?

I've been trying to think of how I would do this also. I have two u/s DVD's that I need to upload and share, and I have no idea how. Can you let me know if you figure it out. Thanks!

I use version 7. Its way easier than I described. If you dont want to cut any parts out, its really just saving it to your computer.

I'm sure there are other ways, but that's worked for me!

Thx - my work computer isn't letting me download the software - I'll have to try it from home this weekend.
