DH and I used to switch off days on the weekends before I got pregnant again (I would nurse DS and then go back to bed while he stayed up with him), but since I got pregnant with #2 I have been completely unable to sleep in. Very depressing because I woud loooooooove to get more sleep.
lately on Saturday mornings my DH will let me sleep in and he'll take DS downstairs for breakfast/play... but the latest i can sleep in is maybe 8am.
ds stayed at my sisters in Nov while we went to my DH's reunion- and we slept until 9am the next morning- it was nice- but b/c we slept so long we both felt hung over- and didn't drink a thing! lol
Hmmm..once we slept till 9 when our parents watched DS overnight, but normaly I am up at like 6am every single day. Often on the weekend, I get up frist with DS, nurse him and hang out and hourt and then wake up DH and he lets me go back to sleep. I wouldnt really consider that sleeping in though. Sometimes if DS wakes up really early like 5:15, I nurse him and try and put him back in. That way Ill get another hour and half or soe before he wakes up again. Ive accepeted that I probably wont truly sleep in for many many years
Severe MFI resulting in IVF/ICSI #1 in Nov 2007. BFP!! Our beautiful son was born July 2008.
2010: 2 IVF's,1 FET = 2 BFN's, 1 c/p Feb 2011-Unmedicated FET= BFP!! DS #2 born Oct 2011!!.
I have a few times since Cal was born...but my DH doesn't have an intern's schedule, so I am very fortunate! He occasionally offers to get up w/ Cal and let me sleep, and I've done the same for him.
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
I have the opportunity to sleep in on the weekends, but I am so conditioned to wake up at 7 or 7:30 a.m. that I can't really sleep past that time. Usually DH takes N to the gym with him Saturdays and church on Sundays so I get a few hours at home by myself and that's such a treat!
Oh boy...I can't even remember. I do remember going to Vegas when I just found out I was pg w/the twins in 12/2007 and instead of hitting the town we fell asleep around 10pm and slept in until 10am! That actually might have been the last time...haha!!
I can't remember.... I'm up on weekdays at 4:45 to leave for work by 6:30. On weekends, I'm lucky to "sleep in" until 5:30 or 6:00. Geez, that is depressing to type...!

Mothers Day 2008 - It was all I asked for. I think I'll ask for the same gift this year. Don't get me wrong - DH does a lot, he's really just not a morning person.
every Saturday...DH is a good man. He goes to be pretty early everynight so he gets up with Eli when he wakes up. Eli usually likes to get up between 7:30-8 and I usually sleep until 8:30-9.

Usually every Sunday....DH and I each have a sleep in day on the weekend. Although that's usually 8am or so, but since I get up at 5:30ish during the week, that's late!
I sleep in every Sunday. I feel guilty, though, because DH never gets to sleep in (I work on Saturdays and he is with Ava). But, he is an early riser by nature, so I guess "sleeping in" for him is not the same.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

Todd and I each get a sleep in day on the weekend... I get Sundays, he gets Saturdays. This way, we each get a good refreshing, relaxing morning
