the older they get the shorter the naps?

ginny is 7 months old today! shocking! in the past 2 weeks her morning and afternoon naps have become a lot shorter. I'm talking 1 hour each! you'd think she'd be overtired by bedtime but this is not the case. does anyone know if this is typical?

    they have actually gotten longer for my daughter since she became more mobile I think....she used to only take 30 minute naps and now they are an hour each.

    30 minutes each? YIKES! we've gone from typically 2 hours down to 1. I guess I should feel lucky.

    My DS has gone to shorter naps too and only two now as opposed to three
