XP: IUI was the day AFTER O, any hope??

I took my last opk on cd 14 and I SWORE it was positive, I mean it was about as close as it gets. I took it to my CD 14 u/s appointment and most of the girls there thought it was postivie too. Well then the nurse looked at it and said NOPE, still negative. So I triggered the next night and had my IUI on monday morning.

Well my opk the next day was stark white and my temp had shot up on the morning of my IUI. Now I am really pissed because I just paid almost a 1000 dollars and missed my O?!!!

I saw your post on TTTC...I think, like the others said, the trigger shot can raise your temp, so I wouldn't go by that. Also, the OPK just means you'll O within the next 24-48 hours, so you should still be fine. GL!

Absolutely!  If you look at the timeline in my blog, you can see that I had an IUI on Saturday (I never triggered), the RE's office was closed on Sunday, and I had my final IUI on Monday at 9 a.m.  I know for a fact that I o'd at 1 a.m. on Monday morning because the O pains woke me out of a dead sleep.  The dr told me that since I o'd just 8 hrs before the IUI, I had a better chance of getting pg from Monday's IUI as opposed to Saturday morning's.  I hope that wasn't too confusing!!!  That turned out to be the IUI that got me pg with the twins.  Best of luck to you!!!!!!
