Decorating advice needed - color coordination

We decorated our nursery with sunny yellow walls, bright white trim, and cherry floors and furniture.  I wish I had a pic to post but I do not!

I need to select my area rug and my rocker glider and I am stumped on color choices. 

For the rocker/glider, most products out there are geared towards warmer/neutral tones, but that warmer palette really clashes with my color scheme.  I am not set on brand (though like Dutailier and offyourrocker).  The only options I see are off white (may be too difficult to keep clean), chocolate brown, or yellow (may be difficult to get the yellow to coordinate with the walls, most yellow fabrics are honey/carmel).  What do you think?  Do I have any other color options?

I am also stumped for the rug, this sunny yellow is really making this tough.  I bound a few yellow and white rugs from The Rug Market, but again yellow is tough to match.  I do not have to be match-y but something to at least coordinate with the yellow will be nice.  I am also thinking of an off-white shag rug, but that also may be difficicult to keep clean.  There are so many I like at pottery barn kids, but most are gender specific (and we are team green!). Any suggestions?

That is the same color scheme as my kitchen. I would go with fire engine red for the carpet and a red pattern for the chair.

Speaking of Team Green--why not throw in some green?  A really pretty spring green would look great with the yellow.  And maybe something like this for a rug:

Then you could go with a more warmer/more neutral glider and it wouldn't look out of place.

are you doing any bedding? do you have a photo or a link to that?  do you know the brand and name of the color yellow you painted. just need some more to work with... i'd love to help!

OK, here is more info I know my initial post was pretty vauge: 

I used a color called "Like Butter" for the walls, it was supposed to be a creamy yellow, but wound up to be sunnier and brighter than I thought.  This link is not the exact color but very close:
