I work a 12 hour shift today.

And I've been having contractions 9 to 10 minutes apart for the last two hours. But my body hates me, so they'll probably go away.

I won't get my hopes up, and I will go on to work as normal, although I would LOVE an excuse to not work 12 hours (the whole being almost 38 weeks pregnant isn't a good enough excuse apparently lol)

long day..yuck. I hope its something so you can go home...but i have been having them 10 min apart for about two weeks off and on...stinks! ugh.. ha. GL hope they get closer!!!

Good grief, that's a long day. Can your doctor sign you out of work?

He can sign me out of work, but we talked about it a few weeks ago and decided my job isn't strenuous enough to not work. My BP is good and there's no swelling, plus DH and I just bought a house, so we're saving our money so I can take a little bit of time off. It doesn't really make it suck any less, but every hour I work is more money for us, so I'm ok with it.

I called my boss to let her know what was up just in case. I'm thinking it may be false labor though. The contractions are steady, not getting closer together or anything, but my lower back is killing me. I wish my water would break so I could be for sure that I'm in labor lol.
