Gross AF-related inquiry inside.

I found out last monday I had a m/c. mon-wed I bled like hell. Then literally, nothing. Just like that. nothing.

No spots all week, the cramps FINALLY let up (youza!) and nothing.

Now this AM and PM I gushed a bunch of clots. heavy fresh clots.

WTF??????????????????

Now I did do meds (clomid and prometrium) and I did bleed for about a week+ before the m/c. I had a fever a couple days ago, for a couple days... so part of me is quite nervous about this bleeding - maybe I didn't "finish" the m/c? but like I said... no cramping lately.

What gives? Kinda sick of this chit. Seriously. Just sayin'.

I really can't go to the doc tomorrow, as I have a special work project I can't get out of. If I call her, she'll just say 'come in' to save her arse. Thoughts?

With my m/c's I had similar bleeding that you described. Then it would let up and then I would have clots all of a sudden. I would call your doctor though just in case, since you did have a fever. At least you can make sure that you haven't gotten an infection or that something worse is going on.

i'm so sorry   like you need a constant reminder of the m/c in the form of bleeding.

it's hard to say, but it's probably just more lining shedding.  since it was built up by the meds and the pgcy, it has a lot to shed.  but if it continues tomorrow and/or gets heavier i would at least call the dr.

a) forgot to mention the fever might have been from this sinus cough crap I've had, but whateverrr... I think it's just my nutty lining too.... for ONCE I had a decent lining, but an undecent egglette. le sigh.

b) what the heck date do I call my LMP? the day I got my period, a week late, for a day then stopped, OR the day I gushed and found out I m/c'd? what?

I hope you don't mind me posting, but I have dealt with a m/c before. All of the bleeding you are experiencing is completely normal (unfortunately). I bled for 6 weeks after my m/c (m/c'd at 5.5 wks). It was totally random - some days a ton, other days clotty and other days nothing.

As for your LMP, I hate to tell you, but none of this bleeding is considered AF. That is why your RE/OB will make you wait a cycle to try again. They want you to have a regular AF. This is just considered m/c bleeding. Sometimes, it may take longer to get your next AF because your body will be a little funky. I know plenty of girls have even had to get progesterone to get AF to come back a month later (I had to do this).

Not really AF yet? I'm going to fight my body on that one, holy crap, I bled for 2 weeks straight. What's left in there? geesh. I want to go back to being nieve and knowing nothing about my body, please.
