hcg injection + 100 mg clomid - does it delay AF?

usually post on TTTC but thought i might give yall a shot too... thanks. 

so... i did round 5 of clomid @ 100mg this month.  (round 1-4 @ 50mg) and i received my first hcg injection on day 16.  Dr. followed me by sono d12, d14 & d16.  she recommended hcg on d14 but i had cold feet.  by d16 follies were a good size and i had not ovulated yet.  had injection around 430pm and got positive opk around 1030pm.  proceeded like rabbits that night and the next few days. 

i'm now on d29. no AF.  some cramping like AF. 

i tested on d27 in the morning and had the FAINTEST line show.  today - d29 i tested again and the line seems even FAINTER - barely apparent.  am i just seeing remnants of the hcg injection? 

round 1-2 my cycles were 33 days.  round 3 - 30 days and round 4 - 29 days.  all of which i ovulated around d20.  does the hcg and higher dosage of clomid and earlier ovulation possibly delay AF? 

AHH.  i hate this waiting game.  and i hate the crampy feeling i've had the last 5 days or so.  not to mention the major HIGHS and lows of hormones.  Grrr.... 

any thoughts?!  thanks ladies!

I was two days late on Femara (similar to Clomid).  I would say test again!   Good luck!

not sure about delayed AF but i think the trigger stays an avg of 10 days in your system (if you did 10,000 units) but some women report it staying as long as 13 days. i think you are safe to test at 14 day post trigger
