Give me the DL on diapers

I'm searching on CL for CD's and there are several post for FuzziBunz. How have they held up for you? Pros/cons..anything.

Also, I have registered for 7th Generation diapers to use at daycare. note: The daycare is at the school were I teach, it's very, very affordable thus I am not going to search for a place that uses cloth. So with that said how does the 7th Gen. Diaper hold up? Are they going to fall to pieces on my baby's butt. I haven't loved all 7th gen. products in the past. So how are the diapers? TIA.

Re: Give me the DL on diapers

  • I had a Fuzzi Bunz for DD and we used it for about 3 months. I finally sold it. It worked fine but it wasn't my favorite. I can't help you with 7th generation diapers though. I would also get some hemp inserts for the FB though since they hold more pee. Probably not necessary for the first few months though.

  • we originally had some 7g for when we first started out for back up but hated them... they never really fit right... and didn't seem to absorb much

haven't tried fb yet but like my bg3.0 just fine (we use mostly prefolds)

not crazy about happy heine though

  • We used 7th Generation on a trip we went on- they worked fine- they don't biodegrade on the baby or anything.  They also don't have the gross synthetic powder smell traditional disposables do.  I have heard they can run a little small but my DD is a runt, so it's not an issue for us.

got them from diapers.com - code CRAZYPANTS for $10 off your first purchase.  Diapers.com also sells fuzzibuns I think, along w/ Bumgenius and Happy Heiny's. I have never used a FB.

  • We mainly use cloth, but we use 7th gen disposables on trips or when one of the Grandmas has her.  I really like them, I've never had any leaks and like PP said, no funky smell like some other disposables.  They run very small from our experience, DD is usually out of the size 2-3lbs earlier than whatever the weight on the package says.
