at what point did you decide to stop pumping?

i can only produce 4 oz of bm..this is even w/ fenugreek and loads and loads of water...

i'm starting to get discouraged.....

I have no advice, other than to give you a hug. Hopefully others will have some good words of wisdom.

That said, I think I stopped pumping when I was getting about an ounce or less per session. I am still sad about it.

I stopped bfing at 6 months because he was a biter and I couldn't pump enough to keep up with his needs.

I stopped pumping at 9 months and continued to bf E in the mornings/evenings/middle of the nights.

I stopped pumping once DC's were on solids at least 3 times a day.  But I still breastfeed in the mornings, afternoons and at night.

yes the biting sucks!! 

ive never had enough bm for him so we had to supplement w/ formula.  right now i feel like its bm that im supplementing and he's mostly on formula!

i'm so torn..i just want to give him more...

Don't be discouraged! 4 ounces is a lot still imo. I always pumped 4 per session towards the end. I didn't have to pump at work anymore around the time zayden was on wcm. So 12 months or so? He had both wcm and BF for sleep times when I got home...stay with it!
