Okay so I'm in my first 'round' (I started 50 of clomid last night) and are hopefully (!!!) going to have our first IUI....I have a question for those who might know.... does an IUI hurt? I'm not a baby about pain I just like to know the facts going in!
Re: Does an IUI hurt?
ditto. I found it uncomfortable, but not painful
I had b2b IUIs last month and the first one KILLED! Not kidding. The second one was a breeze like everyone said. I remember thinking "I never remember anyone saying anything about this!!" as I lay there hearing the Dr say "oh you felt that did you?"...geez, it was horrible, had really bad spotting that day after too. The next day they didn't have to use something - not sure what exactly - I just remember him saying to the new lets try it without today.
Just wanted to give you the flip side, chance are it'll be a breeze though :-)
Good luck!
