Baby Names

I am cracking myself up

Does it sound like I'm giving birth to an 80 year old? I can't help myself. I love old people names :) My friends hate almost all my names!?

Re: I am cracking myself up

  • No, not 80. More like 60. Don't worry- the name you pick will fit your kid one day! LOL

  • it kind of does......I did your name poll from your siggy and those are some old people.

  • Nancy, Sandy or Joyce but the rest are all on the upswing of the trend it seems. I know lots of little olivers and colins and Anna (not Anne) is on my list.
  • Oops! I meant I wasnt sure about Nancy, Sandy or Joyce but the rest were pretty normal.

Maybe I'll take Oliver, Colin and Anna off the list....

I actually like a lot of them. Alice, Anna, Judith, Ruby, Henry, Charles are a few that I really like.?

I voted Yes on Henry just for you. Smile

Also, I do love Charles as well. It was my beloved grandfather's name.

Is this serious? I can't tell because people IRL give me suggestions and they are joking. If it is serious I like Ethel Mabel, but we aren't using a middle name.?

  • I like Ruby. It was on our list for a while. I also like Colin.

Savannah Donna is beautiful! What a nice choice.?

  • I'm just like you, I love "elderly" names.  :)   I love most of your list, including Helen, Margaret, Alice, Samuel, Henry....

I'm sad Helen isn't doing better in your poll - c'mon people, Helen of Troy?!!  Most beautiful woman ever!!!

    Big Smile

  • I adore 99% of the names on your list.  But my phantom baby is going to have an octogenarian name, too. Wink
  • Haha, your list definitely included more than one 60+ relative of mine. A lot of them are classic, timeless names, though, so I think you're safe.
