I have frozen homemade gnocchi in the freezer. And I want to pan fry it so that it's crispy. Do I have to thaw/boil it first do you think? It's eggs, potatoes and flour.. shaped and frozen. Typically we boil them to serve.
thanks

DH does it from frozen straight to fried... but do you have a splatter screen? If you're using heated oil in the pan and you add the frozen gnocchi you're going to get pops and splashes. We do ours in butter, though. Not as much splash.
Did you make the gnocchi? Yum! We buy ours but I'd love to learn how to make it, since we eat gnocchi about once a week.

I do have a screen! Thanks!
DH makes them - I don't have the patience. But they are awesome.

I can't help you, but I didn't even know you could fry them. Yum!
For the PP, I got a recipe from Allrecipes.com. IMO, they're easier to make than pasta.
this looks awesome.
